| Dan Scully is currently attending the MFA lighting program of the Department of Design for Stage and Film at NYU/Tisch School for the Arts. Before moving to New York, Dan was the Production Supervisor of the Harvard University Dance Program. Other work in the Boston area includes designs for The Winter's Tale, The Tempest, Fefu and Her Friends, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Beckett Project, Measure for Measure, All in the Timing, Slavs!, Pericles, Jumpers, Lend Me a Tenor, Real Inspector Hound, Mikado, Utopia, Richard III, and Twelfth Night, among others.
In New York, he has designed for theater and dance at various venues, including the Kitchen, PS 122, and the Second Ave. Dance Company. At NYU, recent designs include Intimate Apparel directed by Ken Washington, and 4x4xRichard, a new Richard Rodgers revue directed by Arthur Bartow. In addition to his design work, he has assisted on several national tours and off-Broadway productions. Dan also worked as a Systems Designer for theatrical consultant Alan Symonds. |
